Rugby's wool pants are some of the best around for the money. Myself, I own a pair of Prince of Wales check pants from an earlier season that I'm looking forward to wearing once I get them let out by my tailor.
This season they've gone all out with
the Eyston pant in a brown herringbone lambswool with blue and orange windowpane check. The combination of a richly textured fabric with a classic silhouette can enliven any outfit. As seen below, brown herringbone woolens pair especially well with solid, neutral colors but are versatile enough to contrast tastefully with nearly any fabric, texture or pattern.

Seems like the best way to wear tweed is with military influences. That was a common theme in the examples posted. I really want them to redo the herringbone pants from last year in the first photo from UP.
