A first glimpse at the designer's namesake collection which will soon debut in Paris. He previously designed for Versace; a collaboration with Uniqlo; and (together with Robert Geller) his now defunct Cloak label. For the most part, I'm glad Plokhov has done away with the cossack influence that was prevalent in his work for Cloak. Perhaps inspired by his time with Versace, he's opted for more refined, sharply structured, minimalist tailoring in the vein of Jil Sander. It's something I find more appealing these days as it's slightly more practical and wearable.
