New TOJ Leather Jackets

May 6, 2010

I hope you're prepared to get your face melted by these three newly released styles from the Temple of Jawnz 'cause these are some of the most beautiful jackets I've seen.

First up is the lamb suede Harrington, modeled after the classic Baracuta G9 jacket with a slimmer profile. The lining is composed of TOJ shirting fabric in the usual tartan print, and the cuffs and base of the body are ribbed and made to match the color of the suede. Also, I'm pretty sure those are mother-of-pearl buttons on the pockets and collar.

The more work-wear styled T-1 jacket seems to be modeled after the Levi's Trucker jacket. It's got the same design as the Trucker jacket; 2 chest pockets and that unique front button placket. Like most work-wear pieces, this will probably look great when worn to bits. Right now these two jackets come in four colors of lamb suede pictured below as well as black, and ring in at 5 bones with a pig suede option for $60 less or full-leather for $50 more.

Next up is a new design unique to TOJ, the band-collar Double Rider. This is based off of their existing Double Rider, but with a band-collar and options for lightly padded patches, with or without quilting. Same suede options as the other jackets, but the base price matches the existing DR at $620.

This is probably the coolest jacket I've seen from TOJ yet, and overall the best collection of leather jackets I've seen anywhere.
